Hints and tips on how to write a really useful review
- Give your review a Name
- Your review must be based on your experience of owning the product, explaining what you liked or disliked about it and why. Only review products you purchased.
- Your review should be about the product: its features, characteristics and performance, not to any experience of purchasing or delivery
- Do not use CAPITAL LETTERS apart from in normal punctuation
- Do focus on information you think would help others decide whether to buy the product

6. Discount Vouchers
A Sam’s Trade Centre discount voucher entitles the bearer to the discount value detailed on the voucher in a single transaction on goods available in store to take away on the day. Vouchers cannot be used for the purchase of gift cards, installation or delivery of goods.
Only one voucher can be used per transaction. No cash alternative is available. The voucher cannot be sold or applied retrospectively. Sam’s Trade Centre reserves the right to reject any voucher it deems, in its sole discretion, to be forged, defaced or otherwise tampered with. Sam’s Trade Centre reserves the right to hold, void or suspend the promotion where it becomes necessary to do so. Voucher expires on the date referenced on each individual voucher.
7. Consumer Contract Regulations
It is your responsibility to make any and all arrangements necessary in order to communicate with or visit Sam’s DIY Centre including the cost of any transport.
Access to Sam’s DIY centre is provided “as is” and on an “as available” basis. We may alter, suspend or discontinue Sam’s DIY Centre at any time and without notice. We will not be liable to you in any way if Sam’s DIY Centre is unavailable at any time and for any period.
Sam’s DIY Centre opening times are published on our website.
We reserve the right to alter these opening times at any time and without notice.
Should you make an off the shelf purchase, you will be provided with a store receipt. The store receipt you receive shall contain the following information:
Confirmation of the goods and the quantity ordered and fully itemised pricing for the goods ordered including, where appropriate taxes, delivery and other additional charges.
Payments details for goods including VAT must always be provided in advance and you will be prompted to provide these details during the purchasing or ordering process
We accept credit/debit card payments (most cards are accepted however; we reserve the right to refuse cards we are unable to accept) when purchasing or ordering at Sam’s DIY Centre.
When you choose to pay using credit/debit card when purchasing or ordering at Sam’s DIY Centre, we will usually take payment immediately but reserve the right to delay payment for up to 72 hours before debiting your account.
We accept cash payments in Great Britain pounds sterling when purchasing or ordering at Sam’s DIY Centre.
We may accept at our sole discretion to accept other modes of payment including Sam’s DIY Centre gift card, voucher, transaction balances following a refund, or other store credit, when purchasing or ordering at Sam’s DIY Centre.
Any payment or refund due to you will be paid to you in the same currency in which you originally paid for your order, manual order, or off the shelf purchase, unless we both agree otherwise in writing.
Any payment or refund due to you by credit/debit card will be paid to you using the same card by which you originally paid for your order, manual order, or off the shelf purchase, unless we both agree otherwise in writing.
When you order goods from us or our website (www.samsdiy.com), you will be provided with an estimated date, dates, date range, or date ranges for the delivery of your complete order, or the instalments of which it consists. Should we be delayed in delivering any part of your order, we will, unless otherwise agreed or further delays caused by events outside of our control (including but not limited to any delay issues caused by couriers or other third parties), deliver your order within 30 calendar days of the date of the order processing notification where this is a later date.
Where you have ordered goods from our store or website for delivery, they will be delivered by a shipping or courier service of our choosing.
Where you have ordered goods for delivery from our store or website, delivery shall be deemed complete once the goods have been delivered to an address provided by you.
Where you have ordered goods for collection from our store or website, delivery shall be deemed complete once you have collected the goods from the location specified when the order was placed.
Where you have made an off the shelf purchase, delivery will be deemed complete when we have provided you with the goods via our store.
Change Of mind: You must return items in a new and unused condition and wherever possible in the original packaging. If you want to cancel/return your order you must tell us within 14 days (beginning on the day after the day you receive the goods), and you then have 14 days to return the items. If you are returning to store, please take your delivery note with you. When returning goods purchased on our website because of change of mind, the cost of the return shipping shall be paid by the buyer and is not refundable, you must keep a proof of return shipping
Distance selling Faulty Returns
We fully comply to the consumer contract regulations act Of the United Kingdom.
All faulty items will be tested upon return (items broken in transit must be proven by submitting a photograph to us)
The cost of returning faulty items will be refunded to you (up to a max of £2.99) once item has been received inspected and tested.
Before you return an item, you must contact us first to obtain authorisation, we will issue you with an RMA number (Please note RMA number is only valid for 14 days after being issued). We cannot accept returned items without a valid RMA number.
We would advise you retain a receipt of postage in case the item goes missing in the postal system.
